I am a 20-year veteran of the insurance wars.

• I’ve sold hundreds (thousands?) of insurance policies!
• I’ve brokered hundreds (thousands?) of insurance policies!!
• I’ve underwritten hundreds (definitely NOT thousands) of insurance policies!!!
• I’ve modeled millions of locations!!!!

Today, my passion is with how risk within insurance policies should be quantified and presented. Powerful tools now exist that allow insurance professionals and executives to understand what risks exist in their portfolios and perhaps more importantly, what risks exist that are unquantifiable.

When I am not spending my time crunching numbers or making them less eye-crossing, I work closely with other industry professionals to increase the availability of “affordable” flood and earthquake insurance.

I love presenting what I know and try to do so in a way that everyone that leaves my presentations with useful nuggets of information that they can take and make useful in their day-to-day work.
